The first and most important thing is to never apologize for being a woman. What this means is that you should never give in to the idea that you are weaker than a man. On the other hand, you should not just pretend to be a man either. The people who try to dress like men and intimidate people like men get nowhere. As a woman you have a unique set of skills that the men don’t have. Leveraging those skills will lead you higher on the ladder than trying to be a sub-par man.
